Blessed with elevated grassland that is bedded with snow during the winters, gurgling streams, dense alpine forest and rich variety of flowers, the Dodital Trek is one of the picturesque treks in the Garhwal Himalayan region. The trek originates from the Bhagirathi valley, which is nestled at an altitude of 1,350 meters, and passes through a mysterious forest and ascents gently to a lofty height of 4,150 meters to Darwa Top. Dodital is often dubbed Ganesh-ka-Tal and is considered as one of the sacred lakes in the Garhwal Himalayan region as it is believed that it is the birthplace of Lord Ganesha, one of the Hindu deities.

  • Trekkers should follow the schedules and rules. Leaders’ decisions will be the final decision.

  • Trekkers will have to bear extra charges if any unavoidable expenses occurred due to a change in program or group over-spending.
  • Non-Veg. Food, Smoking, Alcohol, Drugs, Narcotics, and any kind of Intoxication, Firearms, and Gambling are strictly prohibited.
  • All the programs include purely vegetarian healthy food only.
  • Do not carry or wear any VALUABLES, ORNAMENTS / JEWELLERY, etc. The Organisers are not responsible for any loss or theft of the valuables.
  • Take care of the mountains. Plastic items, wrappers, toilet paper, empty boxes should not be littered but carried up to the next camp for necessary disposal.

Itinerary

Day 1Meet & Greet at Delhi Hazrat Nizzamuddin and leave for Rishikesh by AC Bus. O/n Rishikesh

Meet & Greet at Delhi Nizzamuddin Station at 10:30am and proceed for Rishikesh. Enroute Lunch. Reach Rishikesh by evening. Rest at Hotel. O/n Rishikesh. 

Day 2Drive from Rishikesh to Agoda Base Camp

Early Morning leave from Rishikesh by 6:00am to Agoda base camp (Approx 8 hrs drive). Breakfast and lunch will be done enroute. Reach Agoda base camp by evening. Freshen up and go for an acclimatization walk. O/n Agoda base camp

Day 3Trek from Agoda to Manjhi Camp - 11Km

Early Morning after breakfast start the trek for Manjhi – 11 Km trek. Enjoy the scenic views capture memories. Lunch enroute. Reach Manjhi by 3:00pm and explore the manjhi camp. O/n Manjhi.

Day 4Trek from Manjhi Camp To Dodital - 5Km

After breakfast proceed for Dodital – 5Km Trek from Manjhi. Enroute enjoy the scenic views capture beautiful memories and reach the Dodital (Ganesh ka Tal). The birth place of Lord Ganesha. Reach Dodital by 2:00 – 3:00pm and click pictures, play games. O/n Dodital. 

Day 5Trek from Dodital to Dharwa Top and back to Dodital - 6Km

Early morning trek from Dodital to Dharwa Top the summit of Dodital. Enjoy the view from the top. Get down back to Dodital and day free at Dodital. 

Day 6Trek from Dodital to Agoda Base Camp - 14 Km

Early Morning after breakfast start the descend from Dodital to Agoda base camp-14km trek. Reach Agoda base camp by evening. Reach and explore the base camp. O/n Agoda

Day 7Drive from Agoda Base camp to Rishikesh. O/n Rishikesh

Early morning depart for Rishikesh. Reach Rishikesh by Evening and day free at Rishikesh for Shopping. O/n Rishikesh. 

Day 8Early Morning Rafting. Evening Rishikesh Local Sightseeing. O/n Rishikesh

Early morning after breakfast proceed for Rafting. Cliff Jump while rafting and enjoy rafting in the Ganga. After lunch rest in the hotel. Evening Rishikesh local sightseeing and Ganga aarti. O/n Rishikesh.

Day 9Early morning depart for Delhi And evening catch train for Mumbai. O/n Train

Checkout from Rishikesh in the Morning and proceed to Delhi by AC bus. Reach Delhi by afternoon. Drop at Nizzmuddin Station. The trek ends here with sweet memories and lots of adventure..
